The Government established N4L as a Crown-owned company to develop and operate a managed network for schools. The Managed Network provides all schools with Government funded access to reliable, fast, safe internet connections with uncapped data.
N4L is extending the Managed Network into classrooms across Aotearoa, so they can help monitor, maintain, and manage your school’s internet connection every step of the way. The extended network will provide fast and reliable wifi connection throughout your school.
Extending the Managed Network is part of the nationwide School Network Upgrade that delivers the Ministry of Education’s Te Mana Tūhono programme – providing long-term IT support.
N4L deliver the Ministry of Education’s Te Mana Tūhono programme, which provides long-term IT support to schools. Once your school has opted-in to Te Mana Tūhono, N4L will complete your School Network Upgrade.
N4L will contact your school about the Te Mana Tūhono programme 2-3 months before your network equipment expires, which is on your 5-year SNUP/WSNUP anniversary.
Education Service Desk (provides sector application support, e.g. for e-asTTle)
ICT Helpdesk (support for desktop application, warranty, and licensing)
