The Connected Learning Advisory is a free service for schools and kura offering consistent, unbiased advice on integrating technology with learning so they can get the best results for their students and communities. Schools can contact the advisory via online form or by phone.

This service is provided free of charge to all state and state-integrated New Zealand schools. It is funded by the Ministry of Education and managed by CORE Education.

Contact the advisory

  • Call the Advisory on 0800 700 400

We recommend that your school nominate one person to contact the advisory on your school’s behalf. This might be a senior staff member, an ICT technician, or e-learning leader.

Your school’s query will be allocated to an appropriate advisor who will contact you as soon as possible.

You are welcome to contact us if you have any questions about:

  • what digital technologies and resources are available for schools, and how to best access them
  • how to create a plan for the effective introduction of digital technologies, ultra-fast broadband and WiFi in your school, or to assess your current plan
  • how to engage parents and your local community using technology like social media and websites
  • making decisions about purchasing laptops, tablets, and other ICT equipment for your classrooms
  • demystifying BYOD, software management, data storage, network standards, video conferencing, ICT infrastructure, and modern learning practices using technology.
